Juče je na zvaničnom forumu, community manager Bornakk govorio o istanci Naxxramas i Ashbringer maču, i šta će se desiti sa njima u Wrath of the Lich King. Izgleda da će ih više ljudi videti u novom nastavku nego što je to bilo u TBC:
Naxxramas is planned to be more of an entry level raid dungeon in Wrath of the Lich King and not the hardest dungeon in the game, so things will be a little different this time around. We have not made a final decision on an attunement yet, we like having special quest lines available and such, but we also like having content be more available to players.
Trenutno, Naxx se nalazi u Plaguewood, u severo-zapadnom delu Eastern Plagueland-a, i Ashbringer je legendarni mač koji trenutno nije dostupan igračima. Umesto toga, Corrupted Ashbringer pada u Death Knight delu Naxxramas-a. Upotrebom ove zle verzije mača kreće se skriptovan event u Cathedral Wing iz Scarlet Monastery, i svi NPC-ovi koji su Argent Dawn fakcije napadaju igrača, dok svi Scarlet Crusader mob-ovi postaju prijatelji (friendly) sa igračem. I šta se onda dešava sa mačem?!
