Blizu smo BlizzCon 2007, a glasina je sve više i više. Blizzard je priznao da se radi na novom WoW Expensionu, ali ništa nisu rekli dal će je objaviti na BlizzCon. Glasine se naravno šire za Northrend, a kao neki dokaz imamo i modele drveća i opreme koje su se pojavile u "/expansion02" folderu igrice. Anonimne informacije stižu i od kako IGN kaže Blizzard radnika koji je objavio listu šta će novi expension sadržati i kako će da se zove:
- That expansion pack is called World of Warcraft: Into the Maelstrom
- The Maelstrom area of Azeroth will be opened up for play. Will
consist of various islands and Undermine will have a new neutral city.
- The islands will include questing zones, raid dungeons, that city, and a new arena.
- The level cap is being raised to 80 with the expansion but there will be no new talents.
- Advancement after level 70 will be through Hero Classes rather than
talents. Hero classes will function as subclasses and each existing
class will have 3 of these hero classes to choose from. These hero
classes will not be limited by talent choices. Players will be able to
choose these new subclasses at trainers when it goes live.
- Currently the Priest and Druid hero classes are complete and the Warrior and Mage are close to completion.
- Hero classes will be demonstrated at BlizzCon
Većina nas zna šta je Undermine i kolika je želja da se vidi ovo mesto, a Hero Classes su obećane od strane Vanilla. Medjutim mnogo je rano za posetu Arthasa, da li i vi mislite da ovo može da bude sledeći expension?
UPDATE: Upravo smo saznali za novu dojavu, a to je da će novi nastavak World of Warcrafta da se zove Wrath of the Lich King. Kao dokaz naveli su sajt http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/wrath/
