While we have no plans for Northrend to appear like an island of paradise, we do want the zones to bring a wide variety of scenery and environments for all players to enjoy. Making a continent one big block of ice didn’t seem to fit with this ideology too well.

Along with this, the armor models that were used in the original Naxxramas might be reused as a new tier of armor. They were designed to feel like what you would find in this type of dungeon and they really did a great job of it.
